Sam Edgar has been a practicing attorney in Alma, Georgia since 1984. During that time he has provided legal services to clients throughout Southeast Georgia with emphasis on personal injury cases -- such as car wrecks, premises liability and medical malpractice -- family law cases -- including divorce, custody and child support issues -- real estate -- workers' compensation, and criminal law. Sam Edgar also provides mediation services to other attorneys.

The Courts in which Sam Edgar primarily practices are Bacon (Alma), Coffee (Douglas), Ware (Waycross), Pierce (Blackshear), Brantley (Nahunta), Charlton (Folkston), Appling (Baxley), Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst), and Wayne (Jesup) Counties.

Sam Edgar is a 1977 graduate of Bacon County High School, 1981 graduate of Valdosta State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a 1984 graduate of the University of North Carolina Law School with a Juris Doctor.

Sam Edgar began his practice in Alma with the Law Firm of Solomon & Edgar, P.C. from 1984 until 1998. Since 1998 he has been in the practicing firm of William J. Edgar, P.C. Since 1999 Sam Edgar has also served as State Court Judge of Bacon County.
